Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque has said the final list of martyred intellectuals of the country will be published by March 26.

The minister made the comment after placing a wreath at the Martyred Intellectuals’ Memorial in the capital’s Mirpur on the occasion of Martyred Intellectuals’ Day on Tuesday morning.

“The ministry has published the list of intellectuals after proper verification but there are many more applications left that are waiting to be verified from concerned upazilas,” he said.

While talking about the govt’s initiatives to bring convicted killers back to home, the minister said  diplomatic efforts are underway to bring some of the killers, who have taken political asylum abroad under false information, back to their country.
